If you have the correct size hoses (and yes they are very small) it works just fine w/o leaks. It's unfair to downgrade a product because you didn't supply the correct size hose. I have a 350 gph pump on mine and about 2-3bps CO2 and it's dissolving 100% of the CO2 w/o any bubbles getting into the aquarium.

I love the concept of this reactor, but I for one had a bad problem attaching my hoses. I bought this to use with a SunSun canister, but the Sunsun hoses are extremely too large. I reduced to a 1/2 inch size hose, but still had problems with leakage. The attachment screws do not grab the hose, even if you heat the hose and screw this down, it pushes the hose back.

Best way to dissolve Co2 period. With the use of a drop checker I was able to get the perfect amount of CO2 in my tank. It works so well that I had a very scary incident where a faulty valve almost gassed my fish within an hour. The build quality is great. Thick where it needs to be so it's very sturdy. No leaks. Although, the tubing connections could be improved a little more. Even though I have never had it leak, the twist lock connections seems to be a weak point(pulling on tube once "tightened"). Overall I am happy with the purchase. Price was the same as my home built reactor. Thanks

As with most Chinese plastic products it's a little brittle and you have to be careful with it but other then that if you set it up properly and carefully and does exactly what it's supposed to. I think it's a great value for the price!

The plastic seems a little cheaply made and people seem to have problems with it cracking because they think they need to over tighten all the fittings cause it has water flow and they're afraid of leaks but it's not necessary. Only need to barely tighten by hand and it's fine, don't use a tool or put pressure on it. Be careful with fittings and this is a great reactor! 100% dissolved co2 in my tank, low price and easy to install and haven't had any complications and it's tons better than an in tank diffuser and the only bubbles in the tank are oxygen pearling from the plants. Highly recommend if on a budget. Design works and looks nice too.
