Mitzi Blessing is on the scrapheap at 55: a lifetime of organising the church flower rota and making cricket teas seems to loom gloomily ahead of her. However, with the discovery of her grandmother's old cookery book her enforced early retirement starts to get very interesting.
The only child of a schoolteacher and a circus clown, Christina Jones has been writing all her life. As well as writing novels, Christina contributes short stories and articles to national magazines and newspapers. Christina lives with her husband Rob and a houseful of rescued cats.
