A beautiful phone
This phone is great. It's one of the least expensive Android phones on the market, yet it has basically everything you need; 3G, WiFi, a 3.2Mp camera, Fm Radio, Media Player...and the amazing HTC Sense Technology is so cool! The phone's compactness makes it easy to carry around - and it fits on the palm of your hands. It's got a 2.8-inch resistive touch screen (a disadvantage bacause you wont have the best touch experience - capacitive screens are much better). The slightly smaller screen size means some apps may not work well, but so far I've found enough apps that work for me (on androidMarket). So far, I'm loving this phone!

there are great phone.
I had HTC Touch Pro with Windows Mobile 6 before so it was like a quantum leap to another era. I am amazed of in how such short time, phones can develop in such a fast pace. Even though I liked my previous tiny "fatso" alot, the HTC I had before had serious overheating issues, with WiFi on it lasted about an hour, GPS signals were a headache and screen sensitivity was not even comparable. The new G2 (or Vision/Desire Z) impressed me from the start. I had never used Android system before but within days I had all set up I needed. For travelling Google maps is a joke for a mobile

Does not pick up any other phone carrier data plan.
I'm not sure where to begin. I bought this phone thinking I could use it for T-Mobile because it was unlocked. Of course it worked but realize I couldn't get to use my 4g or data plan. It only worked on WiFi only to get online. I'm not sure if it was a setting I needed to change or not but I thought it would be easy to just put my sim card in and everything would be good. Nope, it was probably made to pick up Verizon data plans only I think? Anyways, the phone I think is now outdated cause while on WiFi, it was soooo slow to upload each page and trying to download something was soooo slow as well. After figuring out that a window phone was way more different then them other android phones, I just had to get rid of the phone and get me a real T-Mobile phone and a more updated one. Maybe it might work better for a Verizon Data plan or something which was my main reason for getting this smart phone? Read full review

HTC EVO MAKES MOBILE OFFICE WORK EASY
This phone rocks! My fiance decided that I needed a cell phone with a navigation system, so he bought one. Unfortunately, it was a Palm Pixi that was part of the plan he already had; it was painful to look at and the keyboard was cramped. This HTC EVO was my choice and it was a wise one. The screen is large enough to read messages and the internet without a problem. The screen is crisp and the phone seems to have all that I need to conduct business on the go. I agree, the volume on it could be better and it does take a lot of power, but you can feel why when you use it. Also, it would be nice to remove some of the apps that are pre-installed, like NASCAR among others. Overall, it was worth it and I look forward to learning more about all of its features.

Best smart phone ever?
After the frustration with the Hero, I wanted a better android phone, since I'm pretty familiar with the HTC sense and interface, therefore , I decide to look for another one from the manufacturer of HTC,after read all the reviews of the EVO 4g , also, my nephew , also have one,and then later I found out , his brother also have one, since it's long way till our contract expired from Sprint, which doesn't qualified for a upgrading, hence this purchase from ebay.I did, want to refused the purchase, but it's only fair and to all ebay users, that both sides agree.I should never have done that, because this is probably, the greatest gadget , phone, toy , etc, you will see today, until some others come along. Why, compare to the Hero, which slow and momentarily freeze sometimes(unless you only use as a phone),stock or rooted.Well, it has to beexpected, because this baby, have almost twice the power , and the 2.2 update, I meant is almost a micro netbook in disguise, pardon my expression !This thing even faster than my 3 gig desktop, for surfing on the net! and that big screen, that's why I didn't go for Iphone, no matter how prettier, or more responsive it is, bigger screen, that is, is better. As for the rating , well, this thing gobble on batteries, unless you don't play around it too much, but with all that power, it is too be expected. Also, the control touch screen is less responsive than the Iphone, but only a tad less and required a soft touch, from my experience.By the way, even 4g not available at my area, somehow, it seem faster! weird!
