I was a bit reluctant to buy a used laptop battery, but frankly I have not been impressed with some of the New "No Name" replacement laptop batteries I have purchased. In any case this used "Genuine" Dell Extended Life Battery is great!! It holds a charge for over 6 hours, and will likely out live many of the new No-Name replacement batteries that are available.

It fits as it should, charged as it should, operates laptop as it should. No real issues good or bad. I use this as an extra power supply when out on assignment doing a new story. I report for local radio station and sometimes no juice to charge with so a backup battery is just the thing. I swap them out so as to keep them charged up just in case... I would recommend to everyone who uses their laptop for any work to have a backup battery.

This battery works fine for my purposes, but it doesn't hold a charge much longer than the one it replaced. I have not timed the battery life, but I would estimate it at around 5 hours when using for repair manual access on the shopfloor. I was doubtful I'd actually get a dell battery, but the decals all look right.

This is a genuine Dell brand laptop battery. Arrived on time, and works great for my Inspiron 17r. The box had foam in it to protect the battery from damage. I would definitely recommend this if you're in need of a new battery.
