Older, but better, Eye-fi product - get it while you can!
Eye-fi switched to their new "Mobi" products awhile ago and I think those are primarily aimed at sending pics from the camera to portable devices. The "Connect" and the "Pro X2" are the older generation ones and work with Eye-fi Center software and can send pics from your camera to Eye-fi center on a PC. I have 6 different cards now for multiple cameras and all sending to one PC with Eye-fi Center. It looks like Sandisk has a deal to distribute the non-Mobi cards, but you can only buy them from overseas (China, Korea, etc.). I have one 8GB card on order via Ebay, as I want to see if those are compatible with Eye-fi Center. Meanwhile, I'm stocking up on the X2 Pros :). If you get a card that is used and it's still left registered to the old user, you can try to beg Eye-fi to deactivate the card, and their support MAY (or may not) do it for you, as they consider these out-of support status. Bought it for a computer challenged elderly family member
Our local Walmarts will no longer process 35mm film. My elderly family member was at a total loss, since she only owned 35mm film type cameras. A digital camera was provided to her, but she just could not comprehend the steps to download, post to Facebook or email the photographs. I checked around, like most of you do, and discovered many blogs about Eye-Fi. I bought it, installed it, and explained the very few and easy steps required to use. She is using it like a Pro! Ok, so it was for my mother-in-law, and having said that, well, my wife is happy again, and so I'm I. Thanks Eye-Fi! :-)

Eye-Fi Connect X2
My last Eye-Fi pro had gotten unreliable because the orange plastic case had cracked. I got this new one - much less expensive and did not have great expectations - only that it would work and probably slowly. Much to my surprise, it is great and very fast. I am incredibly pleased!

Awesome Product! Great value for the money!
I like it because it is easy to use and I have no complaints about it! I can not compare to others because this is the first time I use this type of product..

I can call it a tool and not an accessory. I wish I had it before...
After a lot of research seeing videos and going through sites my decision was made. The Eye-FI 4GB was the one for me. While I was waiting for it to arrive I was hoping that it is really easy to set-up and get started without being an IT expert. I also discovered another brand that was slightly cheaper and I was wondering if I should have got that instead. One fine afternoon the doorbell rang and there it was.. Quite a short wait even though it had a lot of traveling to do get where I live. I opened it in a rush and started installing it.. I wanted to install it to send pics to my Android phone so when I am fishing or camping far away from my house or a PC I can still post the pics on Facebook or send them via email instantly. The installation was sweet. Just a few minutes and very easy... exactly what I wanted. The Eye-Fi has a permanent home in my camera now.. always in there and never removing it. It does what I wanted. So when I am fishing far away from any civilisation my Camera with x35 optical zoom and my mobile are always paired (married). A pic that I take at full zoom, (that my mobile cant) goes straight to my mobile in seconds and can be transmitted to FB thanks to my data connection on my mobile. To sum it up its like I have either a Camera with 35x zoom that can transmit to FB or send pics to email instantly, or a mobile with 35x optical zoom. Thanks to the card i take a picture and it goes from Camera to mobile, and from mobile to Facebook or email in seconds where ever I am. Read full review
