As others have said, the hose assembly tends to come apart. The floor brush will separate from the extension and the extension will come loose from the hose. The brush assembly itself does not work, for me, as well as the brush on my old full size Eureka canister. It is too wide to go behind some of my furniture. It also does not work for cleaning under cabinet overhangs in the kitchen. Fortunately, my old brush fits fine and that's what I use. Still, the hose is long, suction good, cord is long enough, and its light weight and compact size make it easy to use on stairs. Overall, good value.

Nice little vacuum cleaner, good price, just what I was looking for. The problem I have is that the extension wand is defective so I can use the vacuum cleaner for only half of the functions it was designed for and that I bought it for. Compounding the problem is the fact that Eureka's service center is out of stock on the replacement part and will not have it back in stock until March 15. I received the vacuum at the end of December so it will be at least 2months before I have a fully functioning vacuum. I checked Eureka's website and they were out of stock on 75% of the parts for this vacuum. One side note on what I learned while checking the website: the replacement HEPA filter for this vacuum costs $19.95 plus shipping. If you use the vacuum on a regular basis you will replace the filter twice per year at a cost of more than $40.00! Rather than the filter being just a replacement paper cartridge it is a paper cartridge permanently molded into a large plastic part that replaces the back end of the vacuum. Poor engineering and an outrageous replacement cost! I liken it to buying a cheap ink jet printer then paying a fortune for replacement ink cartridges. This is not satisfactory.Read full review

I bought this vacuum to clean my apartment, and it was a great deal, pricewise. I have a Rumba, but we needed something to do upholstery, dust, and make quick clean ups. It works well for the upholstery. I have a Siamese who sheds a lot, and the spinning upholstery brush works great and takes care of that. I haven't tried the duster brush because I just used a Swiffer, but I'm sure it's ok. This vacuum works well for quick clean ups because I've got a teenager who likes to eat in front of the TV with his friends. It takes care of the carpet where they've been and left crumbs, tiny chips, and stuff. The only problems are, winding up the cord is somewhat cumbersome because it winds underneath the canister, so I'd recommend the automatic wind up, next time. And the floor brush, it is too big to get into small places such as, behind and around the toilets. My mom had a Sears canister vacuum from yesteryear, and it had the handiest floor brush that got in tight places, around, behind the toilets, and such. I think, they just don't make them like that anymore!Read full review
This little vac has plenty of suction power and you won't be disappointed with the ease of handling, the light weight, and the extra long cord. I bought this vacuum because I have birds, and therefore, I have FEATHERS everywhere, so I needed a unit that would pick up well, get under and around hard to reach areas, and which also had a disposable bag to throw all the mess away since my husband and daughter both have allergies. This unit goes under and around furniture and cages with ease. I was skeptical about the rotating upholstery unit, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it not only functions, but works extremely well. This unit is best for hard to reach areas, stairs, upholstery, autos, etc. If you have one of those hand held car vacs, you will undoubtedly throw it away in favor of this powerful little vacuum. Two more items I should mention: 1) The bags fill relatively quickly for my large mess (unless you have such litter around your house, it shouldn't be an issue), and 2) The long cord, which is a huge plus when you are vacuuming, takes a bit of effort to re-wrap neatly around the posts at the bottom of the unit.Read full review
Rarely has a product surpassed my performance expectations, but this little canister vacuum has. The power paw attachment is this machines greatest asset. If you pay attention to what the attachment is doing, you can REALLY clean carpet and upholstery very well. The 12 amp rated power of this little machine is its second greatest asset. Even with the regular carpet attachment, it cleans light years better than my Dirt Devil upright. Just remember the power paw is made to concentrate the pulling power of this machine. Its not supposed to cover a large area with each swath. It is supposed to be used in a slow manner in small areas at a time.
