These ESP8266 chips work great with my Arduino microcontrollers. If you are looking for an easy way to connect to the WiFi for your projects, these are the chips you need. Keep in mind, these do not come with any breakout boards, they are just the chips themselves. You will need to buy a breakout board and solder this chip on yourself.

New in original tape-reel packaging. I'm not sure if this is true for all applications, but I think you need a few pull up resistors and a decoupling capacitor to operate this module bare minimum. Really isn't a problem whatsoever, just look up the minimum operation components online.

These are great for projects where a wired connection isn't available. They're simple to use. Just remember that these guys are 3.3 volt devices, not 5 volt.
