Short Strawreintroduces Santa Fe lawyer Ed Eagle, who first appeared in Stuart Woods's 1992 thriller, Santa Fe Rules. Short Staw
On-the-edge novel that keeps you on the edge and is an easy read in practically one day. I liked the large print. Stuart Woods is a sure thing and that is why you buy the next book he writes, and the next, and the next. His books get passed down to other family members because several of us, with good taste, have been turned-on to Stuart Woods.

One of Stuart Woods best
I bought this book because it was the only Stuart Woods book that I haven't read. I do not regret it. This is one of his best that I will always remember. If you really want to know which of his reads are the best I would rate Dead in the Water, Sante Fe Rules, Heat, Orchid Beach and Short Straw as the very best. Like Stuart Woods always says, "Keep reading."

Stuart Woods at his greatest. You will love this book. He just gets better with age like good wine. He has a way of keeping you interested like no other writer.

I try to read all of Stuart Woods books. He keeps you interested from cover to cover. Some of the same characters are carried on from one book to another so you don't have to start out with all new characters. Can't wait until his next one.
