First off, I think Echo saws are a great value for the money: I have 4 of them, 30, 40, 50 and 60cc models. We have 5 wooded acres and I wanted a light saw for small trees and limbing. I have done a couple of modifications to my 310 (which voided the warranty but I don't care about that) and it now cuts more like a 40cc saw. I also aded a .43 narrow kerf Oregon bar and chain and I'm continually impressed by how this little beast cuts. I use it on Fir, Cedar, Pine and Black Oak and it takes them all on with no hesitation. It starts cold with 3 pulls (2 if you can quickly push the choke in as soon as it fires) and 1 pull when warm, every time. I also run my saws on Trufuel premix, more expensive but far superior to the California garbage gas and it won't gum up the carb if it sits for a while. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, great cutting little saw, the 310 is for you!Read full review

Purchased the saw with intentions of using it as a brush saw, trimming saw... it works perfectly for this!. Very light and easily maneuvered to climb trees and remove small brush. Has plenty of power for its size. Would definitely recommend.

I can't say enough about this little chainsaw, it's AMAZING, I cut down a tree 4ft x 3.5 ft wide and an 18 in diameter pine, 14 in oak and other stuff for 3 years before I needed to change the clutch and clutch disk. best chainsaw for the size. I will definitely buy another one when this one dies.

I've had Echo saws for year. Never a problem, always start n run and will do so all day. I needed a smaller saw for the type of cutting I was doing at the time. The CS fit the bill, no regrets!

Awsome little chainsaw takes on any size job around the farm I love it. Easy to carry light weight but tough enough to get the job done.
