Great for wireshark!
These little hubs aren't good for much anymore except packet captures on the same collision domain for troubleshooting, and this one works great!

Hubs are cheaper and less secure but might be what you want vs. a switch.
This is a hub. Please don't confuse this with a switch. Many of the switches are listed as Switch/Hub. An item is EITHER a switch or a hub but CANNOT BE BOTH. This unit, being a hub, will reproduce all input on all other outputs. That's what a hub does. It means that you don't have isolation of the streams like a switch would provide but, if that is what you want, and I did, then it is exactly what you should use.

This product works great, end of story
great product, works like a charm. i bought this in order to run an xbox and internet to my sons pc. you just plug an ethernet cable into your cable box (if its att uverse) and then run the other end into this product. then you plug your xbox and pc into this product. now you have successfully used your cable box as a modem and this product as a hub.

Perfect for Wireshark
This hub is as dumb as they come, but that's what makes it perfect for use with Wireshark. I had tried three other switches, and none of them could be "dumbed-down" enough to tramsmit across to the port that I had Wireshark hooked to. This one worked straight out of the box!

Product is good but may only this product I bought one port is not working.
I bought this 4 ports hub but one port is not working. This type of hub is not bad but I don't know why one port is not working but its OKay because I am using only 2 ports.
