Bought this for my 5 year old, who is the size of a 8yr old, and it fits him well. The rest of my kids have the Mission Craze which is what I will compare this bow to. First the pro's:Fit and finish is excellent, this bow is nice and compact, best of all it is super light. At the shot there is a little vibration but it is minimal, it is a bit noisy but I'm sure a good set of cat whiskers would fix that. Con's: my only complaint with this bow is the draw length adjustment. While it is simple it is a 2 person job unless a vise or press is used. To summarize the pro's far outweigh the cons. Buy it you will be happy

This bow is very versatile and highly adjustable and comes with all kinds of accessories. It does not come ready to shoot though... I had to take it to my local shop to install the peep site which didn’t come installed from the factory but great value overall.

Good quality bow with a smooth, easy draw. Only complaint is that the cams were not timed properly, but that was fixed easily enough by the shop. Other than that, a good-quality package for a very good price.

Best price I found. Arrived in one week. Easy to set-up and had local tech install peep sight. I easily adjusted the draw length and weight. Shoots great

I'm completely new to owning a bow. This is my first. I searched around a bit before settling on this one. Diamond is mid level budget bow but not as high end as the Hoyt, Mathews, or Bear. Or as low budget as SAS. This is info found during my search. This one came with an Octane arrow quiver/holder, Octane stabilizer, apex gear 3 pin sight, alignment peep and rubber tubing (says that it needs to be installed by authorized diamond dealers), hostage arrow holder, a true fire release by patriot, 6 blood sport arrows with 6 field tips, owner's manual, info on how to change bow settings and an Easton soft bow case. The bow was set at 26in draw length and I'm not sure of draw weight, maybe around 65lbs. Draw is very smooth. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Overall, I think it's a good deal. Especially for what you get. If you were to price it against other bow packages, you may find something similar or even a better deal. The sight seems a little cheap because the fiber optic is not very bright. I'm not a fan of the power strap as its just my personal preference. I use the 4 finger draw method but practice draws begin to hurt my fingers after a bit. Gloves or some sort of padding could help lessen this issue. String wax would have been a nice addition to the package as a whole. The arrows appear to be quality as I checked the website and they are rated for 55-75lb draw weight. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. I gave 4 stars as it's my first compound bow and the review is mostly based on first impressions. Next step would see how it shoots.Read full review
