Good value for money. Does what I bought it for
A quality piece of equipment that works well. It hung up on me a couple of times, meaning that on occasion I couldn't answer an incoming call because it just wouldn't respond. I'll have to watch that. Pretty nice phone overall. Here in Jamaica the 2 networks are going flat out to implement 4G. One has already gone there fully and the other which is mostly 3G now will be 4G in another year or so. The phone is 3G so I use it on one network for internet, although it works well for voice on either

Great phone, mediocre battery life
For years I've suffered with a "dumb" phone on my pay-as-you-go T-Mobile account, because I only use my phone for travel/coordination circumstances and I have been able to limit my usage to 1000 minutes a year (yes, a year). T-Mobile has only had mediocre phones available on their no-contract plans. I am quite familiar with ios 4 and 5 because I have an iPod 4g, which works great over wi-fi with Skype. But I also wanted to have a phone with me that was also good for apps. Buying an unlocked Dell Venue-Pro on eBay was a fantastic purchase for me. Windows Phone 7.5 (aka "Mango") is better than either IOS5 or Android because it is people centric, rather than app centric. The live tiles and especially the people tile make it easy for me to organize my contacts into various groups and locate them for calls, email, Facebook, etc. My only complaint about the Venue-Pro is the relatively short battery life compared with my old Samsung "dumb" phone. Part of it is certainly due to the vastly larger Amoled screen and another part is due to not turning off wi-fi when not in use (operator error!). All in all, it is well worth it for the convenience and beauty of having this phone. I bought it unlocked and just popped in my SIM card from my previous phone and it worked right off the bat - no support calls or reconfiguration needed! When I go to Europe next year I hope to be able to purchase an inexpensive SIM card there and just pop it in again. Read full review

Signal fluctuation issues
This is a solid build phone but in my experience has a major issue with signal reception which fluctuates continuously and is quite weak especially indoors. The signal indicator flips from 3G, to EDGE, to no signal, while a nearby Samsung mobile phone shows a consistent and good signal. This not because of the "death grip", it does not matter how you hold the phone. I made some search in Google and it seems other people have the same issue with this phone.

excellent features!!but should leave more space for personalization
i've been looking for smth new and exclusive.i had and still have the nokia c6(awesome phone btw) BUT the 1st time i saw this phone i wanted it!then when i finally got it,i found it kinda difficult to deal with.first of all, ididnt like the way my contact lists appear, and the fact that i couldnt keep my messages,no information i had previously on my t-mobile sim card,IT SIMPLY DOESNT SHOW!! i want to mention another thing i didnt find quite comfortable :to change/add the ringtones.generally speaking,it doesnt allow to personalize too much!!! i still like this phone!!!the features and design are unique, its so big,but comfortable to use; everything else-the look, the operating system, soundS are just amazing!!!i like the huuuge screen, the way u keep ur email up to date, all internet features are just perfect! overall its smth u never had,and so much better than others phones. be4 u buy it:just take a better look on it,check as much as possible if that phone is right for u Read full review
