At the time of purchase, a brand new XPS13 9360 with equivalent specs would be around $1700. My refurb model is indeed in "like new" condition, aside from a very small (no more than 1mm) chip in the aluminum chassis. No other problems, just an aesthetic imperfection, and for 500$ less than full price. Now, the new XPS13 model will be coming out later this year, so the price of a new one will likely decrease, but if you're looking for a laptop right now this one is the one to get.

I got this little machine for almost 3 weeks now and I have a mixed review. Likes: I like that it is 1. Light weight and portable 2. Fast performance 3. Fast fingerprint reader 4. Bright screen Dislike 1. Makes a lot of noise even in moderate use 2. Makes loads of noise during updates, when power is connected, on heavy usage. 3. Touchpad needs improvement from dell. Almost impossible to drag a file or window with a single hand on the touchpad. I could do this on my office mac laptop with ease. I'm still keeping this laptop because i hate going throught the process of returning shipment and also because i can't guarantee there is a better overall windows laptop than this one.

It is definitely a really good laptop when considering it’s battery life and screen and trackpad but the keyboard is a little spongy and is prone to faults. It took me about 4 hours to figure out why my keyboard was not registering keys and this means manually updating the bios. I had to replace the battery for my unit that I bought but otherwise the hardware is really good but the software is something else

I had to replace the wifi module. It's no big deal to do, just get one at $20, unscrew 10 screws, and put it in. But wifi with Killer module broke every few minutes, so I had to use LAN cable. It's an issue with poor wifi networks, according to community, but still, I was lucky to have a poor wifi network. Ordered a Mikrotik router now and will test the module in my old laptop with wifi-b/g. Adding ac/n is still cool, hope it will work. The laptop itself is great, though makes a lot of noise when fan is on. Well... What can you do with so much power within so little space. Small coolers are all noisy. I'm happy with it.

This is simply the best laptop I've ever owned and I've owned several. The display is nice and the speed is super quick. The keyboard has a solid feel and battery power exceeds my needs.
