Huge upgrade!!!
I've noticed load times for my OS, games, and programs has been reduced in some cases by 70-80%. I did have a slight issue about a week after I bought it where my computer wouldn't recognize it, but apparently an electrical surge had reset it and a quick google search had me back up and running in about 45 minutes. Had it for over two months, haven't had any issues since!

Much faster and cooler than the optical drive it replaced - fantastic.
I bought this drive to replace a failed 320 GB failed optical drive. I was hesitant because solid state drives are more expensive and my laptop is several years old. But the increased speed and the cool running are a big plus. I think this hard drive will out live my computer but I can easily used it as an external drive it that happens. I read extensive reviews before purchasing Crucial and all rate it very well.

Best SSD for any computer!
I have had a Crucial M4 512GB SSD in my computer for 2 years now and it is great! They are incredibly fast, reliable, and the best money I have ever spent!!! If you are looking to upgrade an old computer and make it quicker, this is the best place that you could put your money. It might help a little with some more RAM or a faster hard drive but the biggest speed improvement is one of these Crucial M4 (or M500 now) SSDs!!!!
