So many plain and simple truths applied here to councils. We know these truths. Why are our councils so long and not productive? This book is sublime in its simplicity and the lessons are easy to understand, and make so much sense. Please buy one for leaders you know. They need this book. And they will waste a lot less time --theirs and yours-- if they apply the principles here. Try to be patient with leaders after you read this. Once you get the whole picture it's hard to deal with those who don't. Leadership is service, and follow up is an eternal principle completely neglected in so many councils... such an important step to both acknowledge a job well done and to make sure the job was completed.
