I think I expected too much. Purchased to view and photograph nesting hawks. (I also bought the adapter to mount my DSLR) Found that the image focus was not sharp and uniform across the viewing area. Definitely ok for viewing targets but less than optimum for quality photography. It seems to be built well and the focus adjustment is smooth and easy. If I was using it to spot holes in a target I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I will need to go to another level of optics quality to get the results I had hoped to get.

Excellent scope for the money spent. With Social Security eyes, .22 caliber holes at 200 yards are still difficult, but better than my previous scope. Would I buy another? Yes, should I need one.

I highly recommend this spotting scope to anyone considering buying a scope easy to use and great clarity

Bright image even in low light. Spotting at 300 yards was easy, image is sharp. Although the item was advertised as grey in color, a green one arrived and am happy with it. Shipped fast! Great transaction all around.
