It took m...e maybe 15 minutes to take the old air filter and carburetor off and install the new ones including changing the spark plug on my craftsman mower. I also replaced fuel line and added a gas shut off valve and filter. The Craftsman Briggs 7.0 engine did not have from factory. Now I turn off the fuel and let run dry when I am done mowing each time. Craftsman should have included at least a fuel filter from the factory. A local small engine repair shop wanted $50.00 just to give an estimate. This cost $30.00 delivered to my door step. I replaced and installed all the above cheaper than the Repair shop wanted just to look at it.

Was going to rebuild old carburetor, Sears parts cost $11.9...5 for kit or $51.85 for new carb. Went here and got a brand new carb. for $11.85. Took all of 10-mins to install. Also came with new gaskets. Put gas in mower and a HALF of pull, it started right up and runs like the day I bought it. Why think twice? Thanks so much for your fine product.

This carburetor was a very good replacement option fo...r my Briggs equipped Toro mower when the original carb developed a crack and wasn’t repairable. My only gripe about this replacement was the cheap plastic used for the throttle linkage connection, it was very thin and the hole wasn’t drilled out to the proper size so it cracked upon installation. It works just fine, but the plastic has a crack in it now. Other than that it’s great, mower starts and runs like a champ!

I've never thought much about an aftermarket carb for the la...wn equipment but a friend said I should at least try it out vs. trying to install a carb kit. I selected this product because of the positive reviews. First the carb was identical and it took me about 15 minutes to install it, 2 pulls and it was running great!! I am now a believer, I won't rebuild another carb!

I bought a used mower that sat for 3 years... figuring it would need the gum cleaned out of the lines and carb. Cleaned the carb several times but it was still running below expectations. Got the new carb and a new fuel line and it works fine. You'll need a screw driver, a socket set and a pair of pliers to install this item-- but if you can change oil on your vehicle you can get this done in about 20 minutes. I added an inexpensive in-line fuel filter to keep the fuel extra clean. I always use ethanol free fuel and keep the air filter clean. Mower is working great again.
