I bought the bushnell yardage pro fo...r bowhunting and I used it to sight in by bow as well. Its a very important part of my bowhunting gear. It will accurately give readings out to around 600 yards or so. All I need for bowhunting is out to about 50 yards. Im impressed with this rangefinder. The only thing I would change about it is the quality of the glass. It's clear up close but at a distance its a little fuzzy. I wish it had the permafocus feature or a way to manually focus.
Wworth the money for the performance. I was going on a hunti...ng trip on the haul road (ice road truckers road) to Prudoe Bay. I was hunting Caribou with a bow and thought that since they have to be within 70 yards that I would not need a long range range finder. Well it would've been nice to have a longer range one hunting up on the tundra, so that we would not have gone out trying to stalk when they were 2 miles out and looked like they were only 700 yards away. But for teh average hunter (not the Alaskan hunter) this would be great.
I am a die hard golfer;low single digit ha...ndicap. I want accurate information for all different distances from tee to green . GPS doesnt perform as accurately as laser's do. This rangefinder, in my opinion, is superior to GPS with regard to accuracy and the overall versatility,it measures any distance from anywhere on the course.I absolutely love having this in my bag, it has TREMENDOUSLY helped me zero in on EXACT distances which definitely contributes to shooting lower scores. I like this product, there is nothing i dislike about it.One little battery to change every few months which makes it affordable rather than GPS subscription fee's,etc.. There are other more expensive lasers, i found this particular product to do same thing for way less money!!
Compared the the more expensive brands it does pr...etty well considering it cost a fraction of price. I've ranged deer with it out to ~310yards. Trees out to 450+. Excellant product so far. No negatives.
great for golfing! sma...ll, handheld, accurate! please don't use this device for shooting and killing animals :( take up golf - nothing has to die :)
