I do love my stroller...well it is stylisch and my girls just loves it.But there are many things i do not like! First of all the basket. It is very hard to put something in it or take it out. Second, the canope does not go forward enough to keep the sun out of my Babies eyes. You need to buy the parasol which is also very expensive. This feature does any cheap stroller have only bogaboo needs the Parasol. The reversible Handlebar is great but did you try to go with the big wheels in front? No chance. So you end up with turning the seat arround. I do love tha part that you can change everything and wash it. I also dont like that there is nothing for the Mom's to put their water or keys...No Snacktray for the Child. Of course, you canbuy something which is again pretty pricey! I think it is a great looking Stroller but a bit overpriced. I am from europe and we have plenty good strollers out there.A lot cheaper with much more details...But not as stylisch!Read full review
Snag a 2nd hand Frog if you can!
While the price of a brand new Frog is outlandish, I was fortunate to snag a 2nd hand frog in good condition. I had heard the buzz, but not actually used one before. The second it arrived, I threw my youngest daughter in it and took a quick spin in our very small house. The maneuverability was second to none. I was so impressed that I immediately hopped online and bought the Board attachment for my older daughter to ride on. It was easy to install and when the girls are both facing each other, they completely entertain each other (more so even than when they are in their side by side double). Amazingly, you can barely feel a weight difference from pushing just one to pushing both (and my 3 year old is 37 pounds). Also the single wheel on the board attachment means it does not affect the maneuverability of the stroller at all. Backwards is fine, forwards is fine, still turns on a dime. Board folds up easily when not in use. Other features I enjoy are: The storage bag closes with a pull string so you don't have to worry about anything falling out when you are running to catch a flight. Reversible seat. Reversible handle bar. Mine came with a cup holder and clips for holding your bags (very nice additions for the road). Also mine came with a parasol. Durability (my stroller was 4 years old when I got and still in great shape). I purchased the Frog for a trip to Ireland (needed something with bigger wheels for the terrain there), but it is quickly becoming the girls favorite ride. I realize now if I had bought the Frog when I had my first, I could have gone from bassinet (or infant carrier) to seat, to bassinet/infant carrier and board, to seat and board, and saved myself hundreds of dollars searching for the perfect strollers for different occasions. Yes, I suppose even the outlandish price might be worth it for a stroller that is in it for the long haul!Read full review
Bugaboo Frog Stroller
This stroller is truly above the rest!! At first I was trying to decide between the bugaboo or the Quinny but after comparing them to each other, the Bugaboo won hands down. The stroller is so easy to maneuver and really isn't too bad to fold. The Quinny felt heavier when strolling around and the latch to hold keep it folded is a real pain to latch on. I love all the accessories you can buy for the Bugaboo and it's truly versatile. The only thing I would change about this stroller is the folding. Yes, the stroller has to be broken into two pieces. I wish they would come up with a way for it to fold in one piece. However, the folding process is really easy and the two pieces would only become a hassle when going on a plane or bus. Other than that, the stroller is perfect and I enjoy using it. A stroller is one of the most important things you will buy as a parent because you will use it almost everyday for at least 3 years, so I think it's definitely worth the money to splurge on this item and go for the best: which in this case is the Bugaboo!!Read full review
Extremely pleased with my Bugaboo purchase!!!
I truly enjoy my Bugaboo!!! I checked out many strollers out there, and have had many other brands in the past. The Bugaboo is amazing. I can travel through sand, rocks, pavement with ease. It is extremely comfortable for my infant, and with the various attachments that are available and included it is a all around excellent purchase. Normally this stroller is about $800-$900 dollars new, and to purchase it used on Ebay, I saved about $500 dollars. It is pretty difficult to damage this stroller and if a piece does get damaged you can call bugaboo or look on ebay for the replacement. Also when I am done with the stroller I can sell it for more than I paid for it. Great investment. I loved it so, Grandma had to have one for my little one as well, both purchased on Ebay. It will work great through the toddlers years as well.Read full review
There are things I love about the Bugaboo, but for the price, there are a few things that I'm very disappointed with. The whole parasol accessory is a joke and money making gimmick in my book. I'm really annoyed that without the parasol (which I STRUGGLE with) the baby has no protection from the sun! With most other strollers, the canopy rolls forward, but with the Bugaboo it doesn't. My other issue is with the under basket. It's difficult to get anything in or out of the small container with the seat on the frame. On a positive note, it is very portable - fits into my convertible, it's lightweight, very maneuverable and my infant seems very comfortable in it. Still, I question my choice to spend almost 700.00. And how about havng to PAY extra for something as simple as a cupholder??Read full review
