Quite good sewing machine. My girlfriend is happy to receive it finally :) A lot of operations, stitches and button holes. Quick setup and easy to use - so for an experienced user it won't be a problem to start sewing in 10 minutes. For newcomers there is a lot of documentation, stickers and even a CD! In short, it provides with all the necessary possibilities a seamstress would like to have. One disappointment though - two screws are missing on the metal needle plate. Most probably, the factory refurbishment didn't go smooth... Negative experience on that.
I bought this at Walmart for $149.99. It's ok for an electronic machine. It stitches nicely and has lots of options. The Bad: the threading system is poorly designed and I find I am breaking or catching thread from the spool more often that not. The design is different than most Brother machines. It would be a great machine if they changed the upped threading design back to that of the olde machines. The lower bobbin threads the same as the other machines. Also the needle doesn't have and up and down feature when you lift the presser foot so you have to manually rotate the wheel to lift the needle.
I was looking for a good light weight sewing machine. My other machine is great but heavy and is installed in a cabinet. This machine has more than met my expectations. It is light, but not too light. It has more stitches than my other machine and is so easy to use. I was particularly impressed by the quilting stitches. The insructions are clear and "understandable". I would recommend this machine.
Good

I have not had any experience with a computerized sewing machine, but am thrilled with this one. Easy to use and a great instruction book for all the features. Thrilled with this machine and a great price also.
