I have been using a unit like this on a ship that I was assigned to, and really liked it. Since I wanted to upgrade the gym in my house, the BowFlex was the runner up. I have used several universal gyms and free weights. I like the quick and easy set up and changing of weight using the rods. Takes up less space then a universal gym, and offers just as much or more different exercises. I like smoothness of the full range of movement of each exercise.
Great pc of equipment. There is almost no exercise you can't perform. You don't have weight plates to take on and off and organize.If you add the storage rack, everything will be organized and easy to use(for the accessorys).No trips to the gym. I've got 410 lbs. resistance and will never need it all but some people might.
The flexible rods give a great smooth workout with a variety of exercises.
