Bought WHITE, not pink. Gave as a gift to my GF and she loved it!
This phone is a great value for your money. Since it's a little dated (was realeased in 2007), it surely can't cope with most recent phones, but still do the job. The quantity of apps for it is huge and ever increasing. however, since it's an old model, it's OS goes up to 4.5 (the current is 6.0), making several new apps not work on it. It's features include a GPS, wich is great. It's GPS system is a true GPS, not an A-GPS. However I couldn't find any software where the maps were stored in the memory card, making necessary the use of data to download maps from the internet. Although it's not an A-GPS,it still is signal dependant. The one I bought was GSM, making easy to change carriers. But, since it's from the time where 3G wasn't as abundant as now, it lacks the access to this network. Without a data plan, this phone is just a plain phone, with some nice features like synchronization (copy the data of your phone to your computer. Data like call logs, contacts, SMS history and such.) and possibility to download apps and use it on the phone. But if you do have a data plan, wich I recommend if you have a Blackberry, then you have a great way to communicate, not only by voice, but through email and instant messaging anywhere there's carrier signal. And that by just a push of a button! All these features comes with a price, though. The battery life. These features eat battery like popcorn in a boring movie. If you constantly use these features, you'll find yourself needing to recharge everyday. In some cases, even more than once a day. It would be easy to overlook if you could get a spare batery and change when the one at the phone was getting low. But the long and slow booting sequence of the phone discourages anyone to do this. Even with these flaws, this phone is still very desirable. It has sturdy build quality and is very stylish. This phone is definitely worth a try. if you never had a Blackberry before, this one is a great way to start. It isn't as fast or powerful as some most recent phones, but still can hold its ground and can beat easily most mid end phones at today's market. Read full review

blackberry curve 8310
The phone itself is great and it is as it was described. However, I had a problem with transferring my memory card and had to format it to the phone, which meant I lost all the photos and music I was trying to save! Also the bluetooth refused to work, saying that the "object push profile" could not be found, now I have no idea what that means other than I am going to have to put it into a shop to find out how to get my bluetooth working!! :( this could just be a one off and looking at the reviews before, I haven't seen any other complaints about the same problems, so hopefully I am the only one. It is a lovely phone and, other than those two problems I had, it is easy to use.

Great phone with lots of features without being too high tech
This is my second blackberry 8310 in 5 years. I bought it on e-bay so I don't have to pay the $30 a month fee from ATT for internet use which they now require if you purchase it from them with a new contract. The phone is durable and easy to use and I love the qwerty keyboard. It also takes reasonable pictures. I'm not a high tech person and this serves my needs more than adequately. The downside is that it is very hard to see the screen in sunlight.

My BB Curve
I love the purple colour. The feature of this phone are amazing e.g. browser, email setups, call forwarding, high resolution camera. I was very used to nokia and i never knew i would be able to use another phone until BB came my way. I recommend this phone to others.
