I bought this bow for my father who is in his eighties, but just can't pull a bow any more. In my state he acquired a waiver so he can hunt during archery season with a crossbow and the barnett we had was broken. I like the fact it is so light. I am not thrilled with the cranking mechanism nor the quiver. basically, the crank is a royal pain to install and the quiver does not lock into place. Comparing this to my old 70's model. This bow is lightyears ahead in features and hopefully reliablility.
This is a great Crossbow. Its powerful. Well crafted by far the best crossbow Ive ever owned. I broke two arrows the first day I got it because it will just go thru wood. It will definetly kill any animal you could hunt. I didnt have any problems at all. Its easy to cock and its really accurate. The picture doesnt do it justice. Its a deadly weapon and should be treated like a rifle. Kudos to Barnett!!!
Great shooting bow, makes a great starter.

Really impressed with the shooting power of the bow. Pleased with the crossing bow, however the only thing that was disappionting was the scope. When I shot it for the first time the scope fell apart. And yes I put it together and fastened it to the bow correctly and tight! Just do not think that it was as good quality as the bow itself!Otherwise superr pleased and can't wait to get into the woods and bring home another trophy buck this year!!!
The wiildcat crosbow is easily assembled and user friendly to set up. However the manufacturer mis states the actual speed of the crossbow bolts it is still very fast around 286 FPS. The use of a red dot scope tkes some getting used to. Overall the Wildcat crossbows is very user friendly and is a great product.
