Bought this sight because I,m a bushnell fan. Put it on my turkey gun,870 super mag and it Performed well. Last August I switched over to my 375 Ruger #1 for a bear hunt. Worked well again, and that gun has some real recoil. Small light and can really take some recoil. I need one more so I don,t have switch. Buy the way I,m a 66 year old Viet Nam vet been hunting and shooting all my life.Small and mighty would work on almost anything.Nothing but good to say about this sight also a little less money than the competition.
Aimpoint has it down to a literal science! I got a T-2 after I got this T-1 & the T-1 is about as small as I would go for a primary sight. T-2 would make a good 45° backup/close range dot on a scoped rifle. Battery life is out for this world! Imagine picking up your rifle after 3 or 4 years in the safe & the dot is still on & bright. This is why I say Aimpoint can't be beat!

Great quality optic as expected from Aimpoint. Have had this mounted to my Spike's Tactical AR-15 and have easily put shots on steel out to 200 yards without a magnifier. Battery life is exceptional as is the ruggedness of the product. Can't say enough about Aimpoint and what they do!

I bought this sight mainly for it's quality, size & versatility. This sight is not cumbersome when placed on a handgun such as an HK USP. Combined with an ARMS#31 throw lever - works perfect with Picatinny rail equipped weapons. Batteries are a CR2032 which are specd to last 50,000+ hours and can be purchased at any drugstore or grocery/convenient store. I highly recommend this sight to anyone currently looking for the performance of a full-sized sight i a small compacted design. I was excited to get my first Aimpoint sight. I have heard so much about their quality and reputation. Once it arrived I eagerly opened the box. It was packed well and looked to be a quality item. After I read the instructions I installed the battery and started to test it. I noticed that the red dot didn't activate properly when the dial was being turned. On settings 5 and 6 it should have turned on. However, the dot did not become visible until setting 7. I was a bit surprised that this got through quality control; after all it is not a cheap sight. In reality, I understand that these things happen, what can you do. I promptly e-mailed a representative at Aimpoint. Let’s just say that this individual was less than helpful. I explained the issue and after going back and forth a few times; I received a condescending response. This person basically told me that he highly doubted that my sight was defective and that he would not respond to the matter any further. Great customer service huh? In today’s economy I found this mind blowing! I wasn't going to give up there....yup it gets better! So, I found another person to contact at Aimpoint. In reality this is whom I should have probably contacted the first time but as a customer I still shouldn't have been treated as poorly as I was. The new contact was very friendly and extremely helpful. I spoke with him over the phone and he gave me some good trouble shooting tips. Unfortunately, nothing remedied the situation and I had to get an RMA to send the sight in for service. After a week I followed up to make sure that there really was an issue with the sight and it was not my "operator's error". The gentleman told me that it was indeed defective and that it was being sent out from their US office in VA to Aimpoint's corporate location in Sweden. He said that if it could not be repaired that they would replace it. So, I originally thought no big deal and that they would probably have an urgent turn around time since it was their fault right? Well, then I started thinking, this is an expensive sight. The tech guy that I had been working with flat out told me it was defective. Why would they just not replace it with a new one right off the bat and sort out the issue on there time? To me this would have been the proper service to render. After all I didn't break it and seek repair, it was bad out of the box. With that being said I have been patient. It has now been 3 weeks since they have had it in their possession and I still don't have my sight. I even politely e-mailed them 3 days ago just to get an update and now I am being ignored. At this point I am very ....you can fill in the blank. I can't believe how poor Aimpoint's service is. This sight is big bucks and the issue was their fault. You don't punish a customer and make them wait weeks while you decipher the issue. It is defective and it should be immediately replaced....bottom line. I understand that they do the manufacturing in Sweden but they should really expedite things since it was their product that failed. I will NEVER purchase another Aimpoint product again! I had an Eotech and it was flawless. I thought I would give them a chance, what a mistake. Next time I will go back to Eotech or try Trijicon. Aimpoint is a no go!Read full review
