I purchased this DVD because I have very limited tim...e in the morning to exercise... I love the different workouts. Each workout gives you a great stretch and gets my mind relaxed and ready for the day. Prior to this, I had been using Rodney Yee's "AM/PM Yoga"... this is also a great DVD...however, it only has 1 morning workout...where this DVD had 5 different workouts...thus you don't get sick of the same workout every day. I have been exercising most of my life and usually do the more strenuous types of yoga for actual exercise...this is not a DVD like that... This is more of a mild stretching. If you are very tight muscled or stressed out...this is the perfect workout for you! Also... Rodney Yee is a wonderful instructor....he has a very calm voice and is very easy to follow. I would highly recommend this DVD!
This is an excellent tape for those who... want to supplement their workouts. Rodney Yee gives clear instructions, and the workout is moderately challenging. This workout is best for those who have some yoga experience. Yee does not go into detail about basic poses, such as Downward Facing Dog or Cobra Pose. This is a good thing as the workout progresses at a good pace, but it is important to know how to do these correctly to prevent injury. Rodney Yee has an easy, calm personality, and is not at all annoying. I would recommend supplementing this tape with his Power Yoga workout. This workout is over an hour in length, and though it is not highly vigorous it is challenging and effective.
My wife got me started doing Yoga in tbe m...orning before leaving for work. She was tired of hearing me complain about my back all the time. Within a few days I was already feeling better. Rodney Yee is fantastic and easy to follow. Most people think of yoga as a series of crazy contortions. This DVD and Yee's first AM Yoga DVD are just a series of gentle stretchs that help you get energized to start your day. I highly recommend this product and anything by Rodney Yee if you are interested in feeling better not only in the morning but for the rest of the day too.
I absolutely love this DVD! This is my first foray into yoga and ...the routines are perfect - 20 minutes a day. My balance and centeredness has improved in just a couple weeks and my lower back pain is gone!

This is a good DVD to own.... It's nice to pick from five different and short yoga routines and I love to add them on at the end of another workout (like cardio and weights). The only critique I have is that each segment contains one kind of exercises, for example, there are 20 minutes of forward bends, 20 minutes of back bends, and so on. I don't feel very balanced when I don't stretch the opposite way, other than that it's great. Rodney's instruction is excellent in that you don't have to constantly look at the screen and the pace is just right.
