Exceptional quality and value
I purchased on a Thursday afternoon and the lens was in my Saturday afternoon mail. Totally impressed me. It was safely packaged in a big bubble pack envelope. I believe the lens was manufactured in 1998, but it is in pristine shape. Beautiful piece of work and for the amount paid it is an exceptional value. I am very pleased with the sharpness and overall operation of the lens. I am using a Nikon D750 and the lens right now is attached to the camera in my camera bag. A $90 zoom lens that surpasses its $1500 counterparts!
This lens is a lot sharper than it should be, especially at this price point! It is true that it does not have a constant aperture throughout its zoom, not a big deal for photography. Great Lens
I like this lens better than it's more current model. Mainly for it's sharpness. A great walk around lens that produces excellent results. The barrel does roll out when zooming as compared to the newer models that don't. For the price this is an excellent full frame lens. I would buy it again, and again.
