One of the great things about the Quantaray QTB-7500A flash is its modular design. It uses separate hot shoe modules to optimize it for various brands of cameras. I've had one of these flashes for a number of years and was looking for a Nikon module to use it with a Nikon camera I recently acquired when I came across one with the flash attached. The modules can be hard to find by themselves anymore so it's easier to buy together with the flash. Just pay attention to which module is attached to any flash of this type you are considering. The flash itself is plenty powerful and quite versatile with its tilt-and swivel head and the secondary fill flash can be quite useful to kill unwanted shadows when 'bouncing' the light from the main strobe off of a wall or ceiling. All that said, the Quantaray QTB-7500A is a lot of flash for the money, especially at the prices they're going for today, and most importantly, they have a low trigger voltage so they're safe for modern DSLRs. They can also be paired with optical or RF triggering devices for remote, off-camera use.Read full review

Really happy this flash fits my Sony a230. Works great but the only issue I have is that when on TTL, this flash could start forest fires, so I use on 1/16th power. Big issue? Not really. I would honestly rate this flash between good and excellent. If you have a Sony Alpha and want a great flash for a low cost, grab it if you find one.
This is a great flash for the price! It has a full vertical and horizontal tilt with some small flash power options. I have two of them and use them as off camera slaves but I used to use it as my primary flash with the optional handle mount. Once again a great flash for the price!!
Buy it for my daughter, and told me that it is very functional and complete, she liked him very much, very advisable to think, if I need to buy another one equal
The thing I do not like most is it is not e-ttl and that poses a problem with my camera. The digital rebel series calls for e-ttl
