It seems my rechargeable batteries end up disappearing when electronics are lent out. That's the bad news. The good news is these rechargeables will replace disposable batteries for decades. Especially if you invest in the Ansmann 8 or 16 battery charger. This charger can double or triple the life cycle/span of a rechargeable battery by reprogramming the battery when needed/possible. After reading several reviews/scores articles, these Rayovac batteries regularly score in the top 3 across several categories (retain charge during storage, camera flash cycles, high voltage capacity duration). The difference emong the top three, in my opinion, is nominal. Also, at least with this purchase were the best price!!!! I paid $16.49 for two packs. Good hunting.

I purchased these to be use on a handheld radio that support AA cells. It did not fit. These NiMH battery has a diameter of 0.565 to 0.570. A standard AA alkaline Duracell battery measure to 0.0550. The extra 0.015 diameter cause the not to fit inside the space that meant for AA alkaline battery.

These rechargeable AA batteries work similarly to alkalines, but save you money. They have slightly less capacity compared to alkalines, but whenever they die, you just pop em in the charger and good to go. That way you don't have to worry keeping a heap of batteries in the junk drawer for backups or have to worry about throwing them out and harming the environment. They cost a little bit more than standard batteries, but as long as you use them often they'll quickly pay for themselves in savings. Personally I am beginning to replace all of the alkaline batteries in my devices that still use them with these rechargeable ones. All of our smartphones use rechargeable batteries so why shouldn't everything else. Once you make the switch to these, you'll never want to go back to alkaline.

I'm currently using these in a digital camera that I use to take insurance photos of damaged vehicles. My friend, who has the same camera and uses it for the same purpose, goes through dozens of disposable batteries every month. I simply recharge them whenever the camera tells me to do so and I'm good to go for hundreds of more photos. Have a spare set of alkalines to use just in case they go dead but honestly have never needed to put them in. If you're tired of wasting money on very expensive batteries I highly recommend them. The initial cost for a set of batteries and a good quality charger will pay for itself in a year, I guarantee it.

I purchased 12 Duracell AA NiMH batteries. I did an initial performance assessment with my Opus BT-C2000 tester. 8 batteries exceeded the 2500mAh spec and had internal resistance less than 60 mOhms. That's as good as Eneloop Pro at much less cost. The other 4 batteries were in the 2400's and internal resistance less than 100 mOhms. Not bad. We'll see how they do in the long run.
