It 's like I put a new engine in a 20 years old car. I didn't have to change anything else (RAM etc). Now my system is at least twice (or more) as fast, without the need of spending money for new MB, DDR3 Ram e.t.c. The only thing you have to take care is the thermal issue (you need a good heatsink with tested thermalpaste and perhaps 1 more case fan)
