I love this machine. It has great tension control, threads easily with the automatic threader, and is easy to use. It is necessary to read the instructions, but they are clear and well illustrated in the accompanying manual. i bought this machine to make drapes for our house and it has done well. I can't wait to use it on more fun and creative projets.
Our family has been using Pfaff machines for over 50 years. I bought a Pfaff Select 1540 and have been very satisfied with it's performance, ease of use, and reliability. I wanted a basic, simple, high-quality machine. My Pfaff 1540 is all of this.
