The creality K1 is a decent budget printer, taking up much less room than the ender 3 v2. This saves you space. Out of the box it did need a new extruder. Creality has an updated part to fix the extruder issues. Also there is an updated hot end with the thermistor relocated to a better position. Outside of those issues, this is a solid printer out of the box. With print temperatures of 300°c, it allows me to print carbon fiber nylon. I recommend this printer to anyone in the "tinker" category. It's not for beginners. It is a printer you will have to fine tune. Add the optional camera and you can do time lapse videos.

So I got this printer because I wanted to see how a bambu knock off would compare to a bambu, which is what the k1 is, a attempt to knock off what bambu labs achieved, so I was skeptical at first, especially since the k1 is about half the price of a bambu. Have to say its a pretty good knock off, 4 mins slower then a bambu (Which can be adjusted this is just default settings) quality was quite 1 for 1, the touch screen interface is pretty good, it indeed worked out of the box, undid the screws, hooked everything up, putting in filament was a little more annoying then doing a bambu but thats minor, had it do its calibrations and stuff, and it printed great. My only real gripe is why the heck did they ship a smooth build plate with this.I immediately ordered a textured build plate to replace the default smooth plate. Other then that great.Read full review

My previous printer was an old CTC DIY I3 clone. This printer is a huge upgrade and works amazingly well out of the box. Used the included filament and 3D models to get a feel for what it's capabilities were before starting on my own models. Nice prints at an even better speed. When printing from CrealityPrint you need to make sure the calibrate checkbox is checked before sending the gcode file. Otherwise the auto leveling doesn't work quite as well and you might have adhesion problems even with glue.

Really comes with everything you need to just start printing! The free included hyper pla filament is plentiful, all the tools you could need including a glue stick and pretty sizeable flash drive!
