This is a wonderful introduction to Miyamoto Usagi. As a kid I always loved Usagi on the TMNT show, so years later when I found out Usagi had his own Comic book series, I had to have it. I am not disappointed at all. This book really helped to answer a lot of questions the Usagi in the animated series couldn't. As for the stories they're all simple but wonderfully done. My only major gripe is with the artwork while some of it is gorgeous other stuff is "Peanuts" tier. But I can show some grace since Stan Sakai does the writing, art and lettering. Overall this is a wonderful book I'd recommend to anyone.

I avoided reading this for a long time because I thought it would be silly. I’m really glad I checked it out. Mature and honest themes done in a way that would appeal to a younger reader as well. ...in my humble opinion.
