I really love this machine so far. I’m terrible with scissors (can’t even cut a straight line), so I’m very happy to have this machine. I will say though that it didn’t do so great cutting out script letters. It made my paper scrunched on all of the finer curves. I had the setting as regular for card stock but perhaps if I adjust the settings then it won’t do that. I’m still exploring how to use it but I really like it so far. I can’t wait to make a bunch of cards and stickers!

I used a Cricut over 15 years ago, but these new ones are way better and more amazing! I got the smaller Cricut Joy because of its size. I am using it for card making and small cutouts. I wasn’t sure about ordering this machine even after watching several YouTube videos. However since receiving it I quickly realize that it is one of the best cutting machines out there. It cuts flawlessly and its size makes it easy to cut when you have small items rather than using your big cutting machine such as your cricket maker. I bought the basic Cricut because I was reluctant to learn a lot of new technology. I've done only one project on it, and after I figured out how to do it, it works just fine and it will save me a lot of time. The problem is that it doesn't come with a manual. Call me an old fart, but I am used to a printed manual, and for $179.00, one would think that they could have included one, Instead, they want you to go to one of their videos or their website.

The Cricut Joy Is compact .I like this feature , It is easy to take with you. I do wish however, that it came with an instruction booklet on how to use. I am not going to lie to you I wasted material, especially card inserts to find out that after about making 8 cards that had a lot of cut outs that my card mat was not as sticky as originally. This was somewhat irritating. I felt that the Mat should last longer than 8 cards.
