Super Dynamic Super Skrull
I love the statue as it successfully shows all the Fantastic Four powers in a dynamic way. I sometimes feel that Bowen statues lack detail or appear too much like a cartoon, but this one is pretty good in that area. The base is excellent and well painted with interesting pieces of equipment amongst the rocks. The sculpt, paint and pose of the body is great and you feel like he is planning to attack. I think the flames could be better, as they look a bit too solid and could do with more colours, but this is a minor issue and a hard thing to get right. Although I am not an expert on Skrull anatomy I would have liked to see some more detail in the muscles and maybe some veins and sinews. All things said, I have wanted a Super Skrull for years and so I am very pleased to now own this.
