This Traxxas 2970 EZ Peak Plus will charge Traxxas LIPO ID Batteries. I have tried two other brands of LIPO Batteries and two other brands of NIMH Batteries and it will not function at all with any of them on any setting. The other four mentioned batteries will work with the other three chargers I have.

it is specific built for traxxas plug connectors on their batteries. Fair enough it’s their brand. It at least offers a three port separate balance feature to plug in older or 3rd party battery with Trx connectors. Keep your other chargers for all other batteries.

Bought mine used and it had been exposed to a lot of moisture causing corrosion and control board malfunction, so I didn’t get to really see what kind of quantity that would have been had from a new unit. Works just as it should with simple setup. Doesnt have the fancy LCD display like others might, but that helps keep costs down. I've used it a few times and it just simply couldnt be easier to use... just a couple of button presses and you are off and charging.
