The case is very solid, have not checked but looks to be water resistant. very nice lock also. The only issue I do not like is the fact the sd cards do not stay in the cut outs, I put an extra piece of cardboard inside to hold them in. I believe that an extra ( page ) inside of the correct thickness would be a great improvement. Actually if this problem is fixed I would purchase another one. It is a very nice case.

I have tried and tried again to get SD cards to stay in the holders, but some of them push out the card. I have tried different brands and putting them in different ways, but they seem to push out each time. I don't know how to fix this issue. The case itself is a solid case. I haven't water tested it, but it is durable.

This item opens like a book. One side has a plastic "o-ring" which compresses when you close the book and snap it shut with the attached clasp.. I suspect it is water resistant due to this feature, It holds 12 micro SD cards and then 12 SD adapters on top of them when they are inserted into the dense hard foam-like cut-outs made for them I plan on inserting all 12 of my micro SD cards, then just one adapter on top of one of the micro SD Cards. For the other 11 SD spots, I will be putting Standard SD cards on top of the other 11 micros. Therefore, I will have 23 memory cards (12 micro and 11 SD) in this very rugged looking case

This case is way nicer than expected! I was just looking for an inexpensive way to keep all of my SDHC cards together, as they can get lost or misplaced so easily. But, this case is really nice. It is heavy duty, and seems like it would hold up against the elements pretty well. It holds a dozen SDHC cards as well as a dozen Micro SDHC cards at the same time. It's an excellent value, and I would definitely recommend it!

Great case, I would give it 6 Stars. Seals & protect SC cards the best I've used over the last 7 years. I change 24 field camera cards per trip. This design allows the SD card to be installed face up (empty cards) or down (loaded cards).

Con's: You have to be careful if you don't have long fingernails. With some cards, the foam is so tight, it caused me to rip the card in two pieces. I now use my pocket knife, a stylus, or some other small / pointed object to pull cards out that are fully seated in the foam. Pro's: inexpensive, convenient, does the job I bought it to do (protect / carry my cards).

Keeps all my memory cards available for easy access and keep from losing them in the bottom of the camera bag. I recommend this product to any video or photography person

Buying something more expensive is just unnecessary. I use mine in the woods for trail cameras. Rugged and works great.

It's a nice, sturdy well built case, the only problem is that pushing your cards in and out of the foam cut-outs causes them to separate or split open. Also the small plastic pieces that divide the contacts can break and/or fall off. SD cards are just not hefty enough to withstand the pressure or force exerted on their edges by the foam material. Perhaps slightly larger cut-outs or a softer foam material would remedy that.
