Plastic grid coated with beeswax, it will give the bees a good start on their honeycomb. I prefer the plastic foundation to pure wax because it's stronger. I can anchor it to a slot in the bar or honey frame and lay it alongside the frame wires. I use wire nails to peg it in place and the bees do the rest. I'm not telling the rest of my secrets for free.
