When I put the other plug wires on my truck (different brand) I told myself, those were the kind I would replace them with and they WERE very good. When I decided to put new on my favorite truck at 180K I started looking at MSD plug wires. I was not unaware of these and I could find the other set new for my truck still, but I figured I might put these to the test and I also changed up from a Delco plug to an NGK Iridium in my Silverado. There are those who say stay stock and stay Delco for a Silverado and I have had great luck with my Delco plugs...just saying when I put in NGK Iridium's and these plug wires together, its a really nice combo. These have good boots, good connectors and the red looks nice in the engine compartment as opposed to the black, but the most important part of any auto part is that it works and it built for the long haul and I think that is exactly what these plug wires will do. Buy em, put them on and make your own decision after that. For the price point, great plug wire.Read full review

I ohm every wire, best 44 ohm- worst 68 ohm. That 68 ohm was just one wire, the other 7 wires was under 50 ohms. Very impressed. My stock 09 Tahoe factory ac delco 5.3 wires was 750 to 800 ohms. The MSD 32829 wires are longer than the factory 2009 5.3 LS Tahoe wires. I just turn the coil plug wire on the coil 180 degrees to "loop the wire out" so to speak to take up the slack. and it works just fine. Still looks ok. I went and got more die electrical grease to put in the plug ends of the wire. I feel like there was not enough in them. I had a positive "snap" or "click" pushing onto the plug and positive engagement into the coil. If your new to installing wires make sure to press firmly to get the click. Using the die electrical grease helps. I read another place someone got new "factory" wires and they ohm over 800 ohm. They was worse than there current used wires. So I didn't want to chance it and get worse wires. I wanted less ohm and MSD delivered. I read several reviews and many had ohm these wires and I trusted what the review said I bought them and it was true. Low ohm from MSD. Hope this helpsRead full review

I bought these to do a tune up , they worked great. Note they are longer then my factory 2005 5.3 engine came with. But still fit fine. You will no longer have the factory metal heat shield with these. Overall happy with them , engine runs great !

No issues plug wires came in and fit just great. Installation was easy and plug wires were just a little longer than the OEM.

Just as the package states they are great conductor wires but if you have a nnbs model the wires are a little too long. You need to get shorter ones. Other than that great product
