Purchased the Bosch to replace a 4 year old Carter pump. The Bosch is much more quite. I could hear the Carter inside my cab at idle. Not the Bosch you can barely hear the Bosch outside next to it on the frame rail. Only time will tell if it lasts longer. A note Bosch pump was the only thing in the seal bag inside the Bosch box. So I had to reuse the nuts to secure the electrical leads. I also had to reuse the old pumps outlet quick connect fitting to install on the Bosch. Maybe my box was missing these things but it would be nice if Bosch would include them as an option maybe.
