I am very happy with the products. I ordered, received and installed two of them. One on an F550 and the other on a Fiesta. It was a bit harder to get the vehicles to accept them and to make them work than the instructions imply. Super easy to program.
My wife has wanted the keypad on her fusion since buying it new after explorer she had with it and my f150 now. After 7 years I come across this. I got it for her birthday coming up. Got it yesterday and went out and programmed it. Just cycle key on and off til doors lock then press last two buttons. Simple install
Programming for my 2003 F250 was very easy. Quick ignition key on/off 8 times rapidly and leave key in on position. Press any button on your key fobs once each, enter the keypad code once and you are programmed. To add your own personal code press and hold button 1/2 and button 9/0 will illuminate. Enter your own 5 digit code and you are done. It is that simple. Does the needful, why is't this a feature on all modern cars?
No idea why I can get a multi-pack of compatible key fobs for <$20 (admittedly not OEM) but this thing costs $80 or more (this seller had good reviews and among the best price).
