When I made the decision to purchase a small form factor desktop computer I sacrificed the ability to add an internal sound card. The system only has a Stereo-out jack so this seemed like the perfect solution (although cutting a hole in the side of the case for the sound card to stick out of would have been cheaper, this one is much more aesthetically pleasing). Installation was a breeze and drivers are included for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Functionality is exactly what I expected and as described. My 7.1 surround sound is now back and I can hear my center channel speaker again. Product does exactly what I needed it to and has even given me additional features I can use in the future that most internal sound cards would not have offered (Digital line in and out, stereo Mic support, external function buttons and more). I just installed it yesterday so can't comment on longevity of the product but if you are looking for better sound options with limited space in your system, at a reasonable price this little puppy will solve for X.Read full review

the sound of this card/usb sound card is grate much clearer than onbord sound i was use to all so verry happy with the abilty to increase the sound. one more thing its small size alows me to place it in the tight corner of my cabnet
