Spin-On Fuel/Water Separator Diesel Filter (33617) by WIX®. Complete. With Drain and Sensor Port (Sensor is 7/16-20). The fuel filter is often the forgotten filter. Yet the fuel put into diesel and off-road equipment, more often than not, contains contaminants such as dirt, rust, scale and water. These impurities can plug fuel injectors and carburetors, resulting in engine malfunction or deterioration. These contaminants often originate from dirty and rusty storage tanks, and as the vehicle ages, from corrosion within the fuel system components. Dented Cans Are Discounted At The Store
I bought this fuel filter back when I had extra money to put on the shelf for when I needed it. Shame on me for not checking it when it showed up. I pulled it down to use it and upon further inspection found it significantly dented. It's not punctured. It didn't go anywhere or fall down. Just porch to shelf. These guys are counting on dimwits like me to not inspect their stuff on arrival. Don't be like me. Check it before you shelf or install it. Considering how picky this engine is about fuel supply I'm not going to risk installing this dented filter. I'll have to buy another one from the actual auto part store. This time I'll be checking it.

Fits Ford IDI turbo diesel trucks.
Fit my 1994 F-350 IDI diesel perfectly. You do have to pull the water sensor from your old filter and thread it into this one. Comes with new o-ring. The vans use a different filter so be sure that this is the right one!

Fits 1992 F350 with 7.3L IDI engine
Fits on a 1992 F350 with 7.3IDI engine manufactured Jan 1992. Water sensor installs fine and a new o-ring for the sensor is included. Fuel drain easier to open than knurled knob on the original.
