I feel this was a cheap item to use trying to mount HD six ply tires. I got huge gouges from tire iron slipping on this so called rim saver. I think it’s a waste of money and could be manufactured better out of tougher polymer plastic or whatever. Flimsy…not the sellers fault at all. Relax it’s my option to review and how it worked on a tire application. Thank you

I love these. I had the older version that were almost like tubes curved to fit rim. They worked ok. Just got these and they are larger and easy to use.

Only needed to use once so far, so can't say how long they will work, but great so far, especially for the final tire off the rim part.

You think you can just wedge something in there to protect the wheel, and woop, it pops out as soon as you start. Just buy these, save your wheels and money. They work great. Large enough you don't have to dig for them when you drop them into the tire, and small enough you can work around them.
