The robot has two voice messages and a clip of the movie music that it cycles through with the press of a button, which also activates lights during the playback. The toy stands over 12 inches tall and is nicely designed. The box claims it includes a gun but that is not correct. Mine is still in the box, so I can't speak to how well it moves.

If you are a sci fi collector this item is a must have. I have one and the quality is very high for a Walmart item. It walks and talks and lights up. Many features and should cost more due to its great quality in my opinion. Rated at 5 stars. No issues. Some reproductions cost a lot more money and give you a lot less. I appreciate every aspect of this product. From the quality of the packaging, to the quality of the product. This really is a faithful reproduction of Robbie the robot from the movie Forbidden Planet, including the actual voice of Marvin Miller, as heard in the movie. In demo mode, there are three sound tracks, two voice and a sonic sounding background type. In full operational walking mode there’s a fourth high power electrical sounding track. I wish there were additional voice tracks but the ones provided are first rate, very clear with good volume. The price is amazing, the box art is amazing, the product is amazing. If you are a fan of the 1956 movie and are familiar with Robbie the robot, buy this.
