Quite a jump in performance from previous 2 generation!
The "mattress attachment" works AMAZINGLY well on low pile fabrics! Tried it on furniture + key spots in my vehicle and it did wonders. The model came with the usual additional attachments. I found the Dyson V7 performed better than my previous 2 Dyson handhelds. I did have a bit of trouble with dumping my 1st trial run off debris, as it somehow ended up prematurely on the ground. 😲 Guess i just need to get used to the newer disposal technic. Other than the disposal issue, I found this model exceeded the 2 previous generations of Dyson handhelds i still own. Their tech keeps improving model after model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor battery life, ok suction on Max, but unacceptable performance on "normal"
The suction performance on this hand vac is ok, but not great. The empty mechanism is ok, but not the best... should be able to just release the button/catch, but does not empty unless you pull up on the top. The worst thing is you get about 10 mins of charge if using max suction. Using the normal suction provides substandard performance. The attachments are quick and simple to attach. The suction is very strong. I am totally happy with this hand vac. If I were looking for more, it would be the length of time before needing to recharge. But I am aware of the time of use and do not use it for lengthy jobs. Too small of battery
It was on sale so I got it. It is ok but probably not worth the price since the battery is so tiny. You can't barely finish cleaning anything. I am not going to return it because I usually don't return things but I do not recommend anyone buy handheld vacuum at this price and not able to run that long. I have to do things in segment. Third Dyson.
I had upright for more than 10 years and still running good. A hand held about 6 years still running . I give it to my wife for use at store. This is the one I purchased recently and love it.
