One of the best sets I have come across in a long time
This is a not only a good brand name but it is also a good quality buy. If you add up how much each individual hole saw cost, plus the mandrills, plus the carrying case, this is a real good deal. I work with and use hole saws about 3 to 5 times a week. I am always looking for, not only a great price, but a good quality hole saw that will do the job quickly and accurately. This hole saw set has all three. They are quick, accurate, and a real good price. If you use hole saws often, I highly recommend this set.

Cheap case to protect a quality tool.
The hole saws are top quality. But the new case is garbage. Cheap china, save a few pennies, BS. It's really sad that quality tools are tainted by the cheap bean counters, and their ways to save a few pennies. I don't consider this a quality tool anymore. That is the reason for the 2 stars. A cheap case is not an acceptable way to protect expensive tools. Shame on Milwaukee for allowing this. Pull your head out, and sell quality all around. You're ruining your reputation in the industry, and there are other quality manufactures we can choose from. Very disappointed in Milwaukee.

I have been using these for various parts of a basement finish project and they have been awesome. These make cuts that are accurate and true to the marked size. We have used them to make cuts through rim joists, dimensional lumber, drywall, and lexan and all cuts have been perfect. Can't really ask for better!! Also there is a little extra room in the case for additional arbors, an extension, and maybe 2-4 extra hole saws depending on size (I had an extra 3 inch and also bought a 4 inch and they both fit in the case.

GREAT SET OF TOOLS
Each one of these hole saws is $20-$40 at the hardware store. If you have to buy 3 or 4 of them in your life and you'll be kicking yourself if you don't buy this kit. Sped just a little more and have every hole saw you'll ever need. Made in the USA, and excellent quality! The case is also great! I've got a collection of hole saws from from the hardware store rattling around my garage. Now I have a kit in a box I can go to every time with every size I need. Excellent BUY!

Wonderful kit. Box is laid out wonderful, with 1/4 sizes in one stack, 1/8 sizes in the next. Enough room to fit the very few missing sizes in the provided stacks. Quality bits. Speed chart provided. Ran my 4 3/4 through 5/8 aluminum at just above recommended speed & it barely scratched the paint. Very happy with this set. I'm a fabricator, & use all of it often.

Metals, no. Wood, plastic, foam- great! Nicely sized & packaged set.
The variety of sizes is excellent & the set doesn't have a cheap feel that most of the bargain tool saws offered at bargain tool stores. It works great for wood and anything softer than that (great for closed cell foam, too), but I tried it on aluminum & it didn't like that idea too much (chattered & cut too slow- even with cutting oil), so metals are not a good choice for this set. Otherwise, I'm really happy with it.
