Phone still works great in 2020. V1 play was great so I bought the v4. Navigating the os is snappy, I don't see any sort of lag, then again I've only used it for a month. This phone has some carrier issues with my budget plan, voicemail doesn't work normally giving an error, I have to literally call it. Antenna signal strength is like 30% better than my old phone, but that hardly makes a difference when I only get 2 bars. Compatible with older mods. Turbo charge was a great feature in both phones that charges like half the battery in 15 min. This phone was well worth the price.

The Motorola Moto Z4 is a great phone. Unfortunately, I was not able to activate it, since it will no longer work with the new 5g system. I can make calls, send and get texts, and all of my data transferred without a problem, but I cannot receive calls or voicemails. I went to Verizon and ATT, but neither could help. This would have been a good value if the phone could receive calls.

I worked for Motorola for years. They always built quality phones. This has everything I need in a phone. While in may not be the fastest or have the best camera but it is reliable and has some nice Motorola specific features built on the Android experience. I'm not one to outline in-depth the feature breakdown but if you are a fan of Motorola phones this one should not disappoint. One drawback I will comment on is the lack of attention to the Moto Mod implementation. While they work fine the gap between the base phone and the mods is really a poor design decision. I think they could have done a better job of maintaining a flush fit. There is an unnecessary lip between the phone and mod. I have gotten used to it but I don't like it. For those that don't like the fingerprint reader it works fine if you just take the time to calibrate properly. All the other features and performances are consistent with the previous Z based phones. As a fan of Motorola I hope they stay in the game and continue to try and innovate. Motorola was a great US company and I hope to always be a fan.Read full review

I loved it. The phone companies don't. I have 2 moto z3 play's, and Cricket/At&T stopped supporting them 3 months after I got them. I use the projector mod, do I can show people what I was looking at, I also have a neck injury so surfing the web was easier than looking down all the time. Do I left Cricket due to this, and switched to yahoo mobile, no data cap. I have 3 lines use 2 in mobile hotspots (mofo 4500) for the house, rural area, and my dad already has cable but uses it all and won't switch plans. I am 45, he is 82, he says I don't need that much bandwidth, but he uses it all. I didn't like yahoo's phones except the website states Moto z4 was supported. Yahoo mobile and visible are partnered with Verizon. I got the phones, and only Verizon supports Moto Z4, and I was told you have to buy from them,. Not used. They are also 2 times more expensive for less service. The phone was great, better condition than I imagined. It turns out these $1,000 phones are not supported any longer due to a dispute between Motorola and Carriers, Carriers want to be able to lock features on phones to get you to buy data plans. So unless you were grandfathered in prior to January 19, 2021, you can not activate the Moto Z4, and Moto Z3 just get suspended SIM cards, and no Activation. The Moto Z3 play's I have still work around the house on wifi, the camera is nice, and if you have a bare wall the projector is great.Read full review

Sharp display, ample memory, and fast enough for running multiple apps at the same time. With the Moto Power Mod, I can go for a full day with normal phone/text and browsing activities without drawing on the main battery. I do recommend setting your theme to dark mode to conserve battery power. The only con is this Motorola model doesn't support VoLTE which means when the major cell carriers such as AT&T discontinue 3G and even 4G, I'll have to get a new phone.
