This is an elegantly designed and quality engineered product. I am totally happy with it and would buy another. There are a few weak points to discuss. First, the manual that came with mine did not exactly match the machine and it did not tell me how to tell the batt. was completely charged. The book showed three lights red, yellow, and green. My machine had four lights red, yellow, and two greens. Turns out that when both green lights are lit, and the yellow, and the red is flashing, you are good to go. Or that's what it looks like to me now. The hardest part of assembling it is removing all the plastic wrap. The box it came it weighs abt. 40 lbs and is great for storage. I think Drive might be a subsidiary of Devilbis and those guys are quality from top to bottom. And this is a quality scooter. Also, the manual shows where to read the VIN no. but all there is on my scooter in that place is a bar code. Does anyone read bar codes ? Me smart redneck but no readum barcodes..... Saved about $231.00 over the latest new model. Pulls 10 degree hills well .So...All of this criticism is of the manual. Scooter is the best.Read full review

This is not my first scooter. My last scooter was a pride Victory Sport, which truly was a heavy duty scooter. On my first outing with this scooter, I hit a small bump in my driveway and the right side of my throttle pull broke. This was distressing, but i needed to get to the market, so i went on. I have a weakness in my left hand, which proved to be a problem as my journey continued. The next issue was that 3 miles to the market left my battery half dead, after being fully charged at home. I got halfway home and the scooter came to a stop. I had to get my husband to bring the car to pick me and my wimpy scooter up off the road. It made me more dependent, rather than less. I would not buy another drive scooter.

I bought this floor model, but when arrived it looked new, never used. Good buy, saved a few hundred off of so called new. Easy setup & quick disassembly for easy transportation. Holds up to 350lbs. Very happy with purchase. Easy to transport with my wife and I, just take battery and seat off, and we can easily pick it up to put into the truck.

I charged it overnight and took it for a spin the next day.Very impressed. I'm not a small guy at 300 lbs so I went for the HD model. and am glad I did as it pulls moderate hills quite well and powers over gravel and grass easily. Drought conditions here so I can't speak to soft soil. The wheelbase could be longer as my legs don't bend well and it is a bit cramped for legroom. My stiff left leg as often as not winds up resting on the front bumper to stretch it out. Not a problem really but I think I'll make some kind of footrest to go up there. I've not challenged it for range but ran it for a couple of hours the first day and for about 3 hours a few days later at a swap meet which included steep slopes and grass and gravel surfaces. It didn't go below full indicated charge either time except briefly to 3/4 charge but given a brief rest, it returned to full indicated charge again. In both cases 2 to 3 hours charge returned the pack to full charge. Easy to disassemble and fits in the back of my Equinox. Love it so far.Read full review

Super light. I can get it out of the car by myself. Easy to put together and take apart for transport. My only complaint is that there isn't much room for my feet. I put the seat up as high as it can go and that helped a little to find more room to make my feet comfortable. I highly recommend this scooter.
