I wanted a genuine HP cartridge this time, since I had bought 3rd party cartridges in the past, and after refilling a couple of times, the printer would no longer "recognize" the cartridge, and/or not print well. I'm hoping that when I need to refill this genuine one, that the printer will continue to recognize it, and print well.

Ad said open box and it was; and that was ok. But the sealed inner packet was also open. The original printer head tape pull-off cover was removed, and scotch tape was applied to seal the head. It did not and it was leaking. Once installed, the printer said there was no communication with the inkjet.

The 65XL print cartridge lasts longer than the regular size 65 print cartridge. HP claims it will print up to 300 pages. The clarity of the print is excellent. There are no smudges as the ink dries the moment a letter from the alphabet is printed. The 65XL is packaged very well so the head will not be easily damaged. It is also easy to install and remove from the printer.
