I am a Barbie collector and I love dolls with pretty dresses and bling-bling :-) The Happy Holiday 1997 Barbie Doll is a lovely doll and her dress has a lot of lace and detail. I like that she is a brunette, because so many Barbies are blondes and it gets kind of boring... She looks very chistmassy and is undoubtedly a great christmas gift to small and big girls who likes Barbies :-) She is not one of my favourites, but she fits nicely into my collection :-)
This is a beautiful holiday barbie which is stunning. Her red ribbon dress glitters wonderfully and displays equally as terrifically. My daughter absolutely loves her! I was looking for a fancy holiday barbie because the dress quality would be a step up from just a normal holiday barbie, which it was. It has more of a stiff quality to the fabric which makes it more durable. The only concern for using this as a gift for a child rather than a collector is that the lovely, wavy hair sometimes becomes tangled in a way that makes it a challenge to comb through. That is only minimal in comparison to the value. This is a gem of a find! Both beauty and value wrapped in a great holiday barbie. Truly a stellar barbie product!
It came right on time and looked great! A piece of the plastic had a gash in it from being mailed but its barely noticable. My girlfriend loved it and started crying as soon as she opened it. It meant a lot to her so this was well worth the cost. I can't give enough praises for the quality of this Barbie. Thank you again, so much.

I surprised and bought this doll for my sister who is a Barbie collector. Barbie is wearing a red, white and gold down - the red ribbon accents across the shoulders look like angel wings. She is wearing a gold tiara with red stones and has gold choker and earrings - also with red stones. There is a matching ornament to this doll - 1997 Holiday Barbie Hallmark Ornament. My sister was very happy.
